About Georgia Court Records

Court records in Georgia are spread across 159 counties and several court classes, each with its own clerk or local access route. Finding the filing county and then the correct Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, or Municipal Court is often half the task. We built this site so users can reach the correct official portal, directory, address, or phone number without treating one provider as a complete statewide archive.

Why We Built This Site

Georgia gives the public broad access to many court records, but most trial files remain in the filing county. The first challenge is knowing which county holds the case. The next is choosing the right custodian. A Clerk of Superior Court normally keeps felony, divorce, equity, and general Superior Court files. State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and Municipal Courts may have separate clerks, while each sheriff controls local jail and law-enforcement records. Georgia also has distinct statewide systems for corrections custody, GCIC criminal history, DDS driving histories, and DPH vital records. We organize those access routes so users can reach the right source in any of Georgia's 159 counties.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Georgia court, clerk's office, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
